The watch houses an early Swiss IWC cal. 53 which is a high grade crown wind, lever set movement in gilt finish with gold chatons for the jewels and is in overall excellent condition, running strong and keeping accurate time with sub seconds. The movement is cased in a large 14K solid yellow gold 'Savonette' (Hunter style) case with firm bow, original crown, tight hinges (lift spring not strong), original mineral crystal and overall fantastic condition with internal dust cover in 14K solid gold as well and beautiful guilloche pattern on the case.
The dial is a factory original and rare double sunken enamel with Victorian numerals and original set of Louis XIV style hands. There is NO damage to the enamel.
This one of a kind pocket watch measures 52mm side to side (excluding crown).
