empressissi™ is pleased to offer this early trench style wrist watch from WW1 period in 14K solid gold by the fine Swiss maker Longines featuring a rare large manual wind caliber in excellent working order. It is absolutely an amazing addition to any serious collection.
The watch houses a rare 13.81 hi grade caliber with 15 jewels adjusted to three positions. This is an early movement adapted from pocket watches and only sets forward. It is cased in a 14K solid yellow gold trench style thick case and comes with a mint mineral crystal and good crown.
The dial is factory original, beautiful white enamel with Art Deco military style numerals and original set of hands. The dial has two small chips on the outer rim but they are unseen because they are hidden with the frame. The hands and dial have had their luminous material restored manually and professionally with Super-Luminova™ and are glowing nicely in the dark.
This elegant Longines watch measures 32mm side to side (excluding crown) and 41mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a regular length brand new, 16mm wide, quality TIMEPIECE padded genuine leather band in black tone with unsigned anti-allergic buckle in yellow tone.
