The watch houses an early grade 336, model 5 classic Nickel finish crown wind/crown set movement, estimated to 1917 and is a fine hi grade American made movement running on 17 jewels.
The movement is cased in a sturdy front screw Star Watch Co. Nickel case in great condition with normal signs of age and usage and fabulous original patina. It has an original tight bow and an original crown, everything is in working order and the crystal is a near mint thick mineral.
The dial is a factory original double sunken enamel with no damage and an original set of elegant hands over classic, easy to read Arabic numerals.
This large and impressive American pocket watch measures 56mm side to side (excluding crown).
