The watch houses an early Swiss IWC cal. 57 H5 which is a high grade crown wind, crown set movement in gilt finish with gold chatons for the jewels and is in overall excellent condition, running strong and keeping accurate time with sub seconds. The movement is cased in a large continental 0.800 Swiss hallmarked silver case with internal dust cover. Both hinges are strong and shut properly. The case has a hallmarked original strong bow and original lightly used onion crown. It comes with the lightly used original mineral crystal.
The dial is a factory original and in rare near mint condition with just one light hairline and has a common German design with Breguet numerals and exterior red chapter with 24 hours count. It comes with the original set of classic hands.
