empressissi™ is pleased to offer this early and uncommon model of a BULOVA wrist watch for men from 1929, known as the 'Round the World' in white gold filled case - classic Art Deco design.
The watch houses the fine quite uncommon 10AL caliber, running well on 15 jewels with sub seconds. It is cased in a classic square shaped hinged 14K white gold filled case with decorations in two rows of Art Deco motif on top and on the sides and two faint yellow gold trims on the front. It comes with a mint flat crystal and a good crown.
The dial is a factory original hard enamel type with Art Deco style numerals and recently restored luminous filling, carefully hand painted in our atelier with non-toxic Super-Luminova™ material replacing the hazardous Radium. The same material was applied to the original set of decorated skeleton hands as well.
This rare Bulova watch measures 26mm side to side (excluding crown) and 33mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for a vintage watch.
Attached to this watch is a brand new genuine leather band in black tone, 20mm wide with anti-allergic generic buckle in white tone.
