The watch houses a hi grade Swiss LONGINES top class 19.73N gilt movement - crown set and crown wind, running on 17 jewels with sub seconds and Chronograph function which is crown-press set, stop and reset, with sweep seconds 60 seconds register and 60 minutes register. The serial number of the movement is below the dial and it matches the case number, a Nickel open face case in overall excellent condition with an original crown and bow with a miny acrylic crystal.
The dial is a factory original enamel made and in great condition with now damage and has an original set of hands.
This amazing and rare, fully functional instrument of precision measures 52mm side to side (excluding crown). It comes with an Extract from the Archives from Longines. As shown, this was produced for the British market.
