1930 GRUEN 'Quadron' Sector Dial Gents Art Deco Watch 157/84
empressissi™ is pleased to offer this early and sought after Art Deco GRUEN Quadron watch for men from the early 30s in white gold filled case with a classic Guild early Swiss manual wind movement and a unique Sector design dial in black tone.
The watch houses a rare 157 'Quadron' barrel shaped caliber running on 15 jewels with sub seconds complication. It is cased in a classic rectangular shaped 14K white gold filled case with distinctive octagon crystal, very common in Art Deco, with little age on the higher corners. It has a good crystal and an original crown.
The dial is a factory original and hard to find - a sector dial design over original black tone with original set of hands. The sub seconds hand may be a later replacement however it fits well in tone and size.
This rare Gruen watch measures 22mm side to side (excluding crown) and 37mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is standard length, brand new 16mm wide TIMEPIECE genuine leather band in padded black with an anti-allergic white tone buckle.
