1930 LONGINES Gents Art Deco Vintage Dress Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant and extremely sought after early Art Deco LONGINES watch for men from 1930. This watch comes with a rare early manual wind caliber which was the basis for their later legendary 9L and 9LT rectangular calibers. Fantastic Art Deco design in gold filled. Very unique and in great shape, ready to add to your collection, gift or wear!

The watch houses a legendary 9.47N manual wind caliber, running on 15 jewels and adjusted to three positions. It is cased in a 14K gold filled case in classic Art Deco octagon shape and has a good crown and near mint acrylic crystal.

The dial is 100% factory original, Sterling silver dial with hard enamel print. The dial has had its radium luminous material removed as originally it contained hazardious radioactive substance. Instead Super-Luminova™ with simulated radium-tone was manually applied on the original design and now the dial is glowing nicely in the dark and hazard-free! It is in gorgeous condition with a tiny spot in the sub seconds area. With original set of hands.

This elegant Longines watch measures 30mm side to side (excluding crown) and 38mm from top lug to bottom lug.

Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new, 18mm wide quality slim genuine leather band in dark brown tone with unsigned anti-allergic buckle in yellow tone.
