empressissi™ is pleased to offer this unique and sought after WALTHAM American pocket watch with a fine manual wind movement made in the USA. This pocket watch features a 'secometer' seconds count instead of a hand and it shouts Art Deco all over.
The watch houses an early American Waltham hi grade 1235 'Secometer' movement running on 17 jewels which is finely decorated and is crown wind and crown set. It is cased in an original and signed Fahys/Waltham Colonial uniquely shaped 14K White gold filled case with hard enamel black decorations that appear to be intact with firm swivel bow and original crown. The case is in very good condition with minimal wear to the back and has a mint low dome crystal.
The dial is factory original dual silver tone with raised gold plated numerals in classic Art Deco design and has an original set of hands and disc.
This fantastic historic pocket watch is a 12s and measures 45mm side to side (excluding crown).
