empressissi™ is pleased to offer this all original and well preserved GRUEN dress watch for men from the mid 30s, ref. 501-258 in gold filled case and stainless back with an early Swiss manual wind movement.
The watch houses a 500 early caliber running on 15 jewels which is a of pre-Curvex movement series. It is cased in a long and elegant 10K gold filled case with stainless steel back and has a n original signed crown and mint cellulose crystal.
The dial is an all original and most elegant dual silver tone with classic numerals in gold plated and original set of hands.
This collectible GRUEN watch measures 20mm side to side (excluding crown) and 39mm from top lug to bottom lug and despite being designed for men, it is modest in size in today's standards.
Attached to this watch is a brand new XL size genuine leather band in padded dark brown, 14mm wide, with an anti-allergic buckle in a matching tone.
