empressissi™ is pleased to offer this all original and well preserved GRUEN dress watch for men from the late 30s, ref. 582-360 in gold filled case with an early Swiss manual wind movement by Alpina.
The watch houses an interesting and quite uncommon 582 manual wind caliber which is an early Alpina model that was produced in small runs, running on 7 jewels. It is cased in a classic 'skyscraper' design gold filled case with stainless back, all in fantastic condition with mint original mineral crystal and a signed crown.
The dial is an all original and most elegant unique black with gilt print and an original set of hands, all in excellent condition.
This collectible GRUEN watch measures 25mm side to side (excluding crown) and 36mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a brand new, 16mm wide genuine leather band in dark brown with a matching generic non-allergic buckle.
