empressissi™ is pleased to offer this rare and most elegant AGASSIZ (Longines) Art Deco dress watch for men from 1940, long and flowing design in Platinum with diamond dial.
The watch houses a strong early AGASSIZ oval manual wind movement, running on 17 jewels. It is cased in a heavy Platinum case, narrow and long with good crown and mint mineral crystal.
The dial is factory original and custom made with large diamond markers and hard enamel print with a matching set of hands.
This elegant and unique AGASSIZ watch measures 19mm side to side (excluding crown) and 43mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is its original 14K solid white gold matching beads bracelet in excellent condition. Will fit a wrist of up to 185mm.
