empressissi™ is pleased to offer this all original, elegant American made HAMILTON dress watch for men from the early 40s in design known as the WILSHIRE in gold filled and is often referred to among collectors as 'driver's watch' for the swivel lugs feature.

The watch houses a strong and classic 982 manual wind movement with sub seconds, running on 19 jewels and is a quality high grade American made movement. It is cased in a 14K gold filled flat design case with mint correct crystal and good crown.

The dial was professionally restored in correct print - made of Sterling silver in 'butler' finish with applied solid gold numerals. It has an original set of hands.

This Hamilton watch measures 22mm side to side (excluding crown) and 50mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for vintage standards.

Attached to this watch is a brand new, quality slim genuine leather band in black tone, 16mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
