empressissi™ is pleased to offer this GRUEN CURVEX dress watch for men from the early 40s, in 14K solid rose gold case with an early Swiss manual wind movement. This watch is a model known as the Trooper' or ref 440-450, dating it to 1941.

The watch houses a classic 440 unique curved caliber running on 17 jewels with sub seconds. It is cased in a GRUEN original 14K rose gold case with near mint crystal and original Gruen signed crown.

The dial was professionally restored in the past with the correct design and copper tone with raised gold plated numerals and original set of hands.

This collectible GRUEN watch measures 21mm side to side (excluding crown) and 40,5mm from top lug to bottom lug.

Attached to this watch is a brand new quality HIRSCH genuine leather band in dark brown, 14mm wide with an anti allergic buckle in matching tone.
