empressissi™ is pleased to offer this original and well preserved GRUEN dress watch for men from the early 40s, in gold filled case with an early Swiss manual wind movement.

The watch houses a 405 Veri-Thin series caliber running on 15 jewels with sub seconds. It is cased in a GRUEN original 10K yellow gold filled case in unique shape with scrolled lugs, mint original curved crystal and good crown.

The dial is original and elegant Sterling silver in two tones with hard enamel print with an original set of hands.

This collectible GRUEN watch measures 25mm side to side (excluding crown) and 35mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for a vintage watch.

Attached to this watch is an XL length, brand new 16mm wide genuine leather band in padded dark brown tone with an anti-allergic yellow tone buckle.
