empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant American made HAMILTON dress watch for men from the late 40s in design known as the EATON in gold filled.
The watch houses a strong and classic 980 manual wind movement with sub seconds, running on 17 jewels and is a quality high grade American made movement. It is cased in a 10K gold filled case with near mint crystal and original crown.
The dial was professionally restored here in our atelier with the correct print; it is made of Sterling silver in 'butler' finish with applied solid gold numerals and comes with an original set of hands.
This Hamilton watch measures 21mm side to side (excluding crown) and 35mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for vintage standards.
Attached to this watch is a brand new, quality TIMEPIECE padded genuine leather band in black tone, 16mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
