1950 HAMILTON USA 'Chatelaine' Ladies Nurse Silver Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this very rare, elegant American made HAMILTON nurse watch for ladies from the early 50s in design known as the CHATELAINE in Sterling silver.
The watch houses a strong 748 manual wind movement with sweep seconds, running on 18 jewels and is a quality American made movement. It is cased in a lapel style Sterling silver case with an original crown and bow and a mint crystal.
The dial is factory original in very nice condition, pale white with black print and an original set of hands.
This Hamilton watch measures 27mm side to side (excluding crown) and 36mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a brand new old stock genuine leather band in dark blue, perfect match for the Sterling silver with a unique attachment for the bow.
