empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant and pretty rare ULTIMATIC model by the fine Swiss maker BULOVA with an automatic wind movement from the early 50s in solid gold case. Solid gold gents Bulova watches are harder to find nowadays and are considered sought after, because they were made complimentary to the 'mainstream' mass production catalog of gold filled watches, thus were not the core of the sales strategy. This watch is ready to wear, gift or add to your collection.
The watch houses a strong and beautiful 10CSC Bulova automatic wind caliber, running on 17 jewels with sweep seconds. It is cased in a relatively large and sturdy 14K solid gold case with elegant 'capsule' design and thick lugs. The case has a mint correct low dome crystal and a signed BULOVA crown.
The dial was professionally restored in egg shell tone and has applied solid gold markers and an original set of hands.
This collectible BULOVA watch measures 33,5mm side to side (excluding crown) and 39,5mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a brand new quality genuine leather band in slim brown tone, 18mm wide with anti-allergic buckle in yellow tone.
