empressissi™ is pleased to offer this fantastic early and sought after GRUEN dress watch for men from 1952, with the legendary CURVEX movement - the only mass production mechanical movement engineered with curved bridges for a more ergonomic design. This watch is ready to wear, gift or add to your collection.
The watch houses an early 440 Curvex caliber which is the second in the series of Curvex calibers and the most popular one, running on 17 jewels with sub seconds. It is cased in a GRUEN original 10K yellow gold filled case model 440-753, it comes with a mint crystal and good crown.
The dial was professionally restored here in out atelier with the a cross pattern in two silver tones and and has the original solid gold markers/numerals and original set of hands.
This collectible GRUEN watch measures 25mm side to side (excluding crown) and 36mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is standard length, brand new 16mm wide TIMEPIECE quality padded genuine leather band in black tone with an anti-allergic yellow tone buckle.
