empressissi™ is pleased to offer this all original, elegant American made HAMILTON dress watch for men from the early 50s in design known as the GROVER in gold filled, quite an uncommon model.
The watch houses a strong and classic 980 manual wind movement with sub seconds, running on 17 jewels and is a quality high grade American made movement. It is cased in a 10K gold filled case with mint correct crystal and a good crown.
The dial was professionally restored in the past, it is made of Sterling silver in 'butler' finish with applied solid gold numerals. It has an original set of hands.
This Hamilton watch measures 23mm side to side (excluding crown) and 37mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for vintage standards.
Attached to this watch is a brand new, quality slim HIRSCH genuine leather band in dark brown tone, 16mm wide, with anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
