1959 LONGINES Automatic Gents Vintage Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this top quality and sought after LONGINES automatic dress watch for men from the late 50s with classic design and state of the art movement.

The watch houses a 19A high grade caliber, running on 17 jewels with a more rare variant of seconds. This 19A-19AS series was literally considered 'rocket science' in the 50s and is until today one of the best movements ever made by Longines. It is cased in a single piece classic 10K gold filled case with some normal scratches and little dents to the back but no significant damage and comes with mint acrylic crystal and good crown.

The complicated gold-inlaid dial was professionally restored in correct pearl tone here in our atelier with applied solid gold markers and original set of hands.

This eclectic Longines watch measures 33,5mm side to side (excluding crown) and 39mm from top lug to bottom lug.

Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new, 18mm wide, quality padded genuine leather band in dark brown tone with unsigned anti-allergic buckle in white tone.
