empressissi™ is pleased to offer this sought after, elegant and all original Swiss made HAMILTON watch for men from the early 60s in reference known as the 'T-450', part of the legendary Thin-O-Matic series with a micro-rotor by Buren;
The watch houses the Buren K-1000 (Hamilton cal. 666) which at the time of its creation was considered not less than rocket science, as it was the first mass production caliber to incorporate a micro rotor within the plates design (as opposed to the classic additional layer) thus minimizing the thickness of the watch significantly. The movement was serviced here in our atelier and is working flawlessly on 17 jewels with sweep seconds hand. The movement is cased in a 10K gold filled case with stainless back, both in great condition with mint crystal and original signed crown.
The dial is factory original - pearl white tone with recessed markers and very light age signs and original set of hands.
This Hamilton watch measures 34mm side to side (excluding crown) and 40,5mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a fine TIMEPIECE padded genuine leather band in a dark brown tone, 18mm wide, with a non-allergic white buckle.
