The watch houses a legendary cal. 401 manual wind movement, running well on 17 jewels with sweep seconds complication. The 400 series of movements replaced the iconic cal. 88/89 during the early 60s. It is cased in a classic stainless steel Ref. 1214 case and comes with mint acrylic crystal and good crown.
The dial is factory original, in fantastic lightly evenly aged condition over dark sunburst silver with the famous golden original pearls index around the gold plated markers. It comes with the original set of index hands.
This unique and sought after IWC Schaffhausen gents watch measures 34mm side to side (excluding crown) and 41mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new, 18mm wide, quality SP slim genuine leather band in black tone with unsigned anti-allergic buckle in matching tone.
