empressissi™ is pleased to offer this fantastic extra slim evening watch for men by the fine Swiss maker AUDEMARS PIGUET. This watch houses the slimmest automatic full rotor movement ever made. Developed by Jaeger LeCoultre, it is a micro-mechanical marvel of the highest standards, also used by Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin.
The watch houses a legendary AP K2120 full rotor automatic wind movement which is based on a JLC 920 caliber, running on no less than 36 jewels and finished to the highest possible standards with a solid 21K gold rotor. This movement is known as the slimmest automatic wind full rotor caliber in mass production and according to the serial numbers it appears it is from 1967 which suggests it is from the first year it was introduced to the market. The movement was serviced in 2020, it is running flawlessly and keeping great time.
The movement is cased in a classic slim and elegant 18K solid yellow gold case in great shape with clear hallmarks and has the original crown and near mint crystal. The overall thickness of this watch including the crystal is just 7mm.
The dial is a fine, possibly old professional restoration pearl tone with raised black markers and an original set of hands.
This elegant AP watch measures 32.5mm round (without crown) and 37mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is standard length, 18mm wide brand new top quality hand made genuine lizard band with an anti-allergic non branded matching buckle.
