The watch houses a legendary AP 2003 manual wind movement which is based on a Frederic Piguet caliber 21, running on 17 jewels. This movement is known as the slimmest manual wind caliber in mass production, less than 1.7mm thick! It is cased in an exquisite slim yet thick gauge 18K solid yellow gold fully signed and hallmarked, with mint mineral low dome acrylic crystal and original crown. The overall thickness of the watch including the crystal at its top height is just 4.5mm.
The dial is a friction fit, elegant in pearl tone with black print of Roman numerals which may have been restored in the past and shows a few small age related signs. It has an original set of solid gold hands.
This elegant AP watch measures 32mm side to side (excluding crown) and 36mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is its original, hardly used and signed AUDEMARS PIGUET genuine slim black leather band in croco design with an original 18K gold signed AP buckle.
