empressissi™ is pleased to offer this extremely rare and modestly used, phenomenal condition diver watch often considered one of the 'holy grails' of divers watches' collectors - The DOXA SUB 300T 'Searambler' from the late 60s in distinctive 'Genta' design. Notably, most of these already rare watches available for sale today, are in fair to poor condition given the fact these were usually bought for actual harsh conditions and not for cocktails. Everything you want to know about this amazing watch can be studies in this Hodinkee link, again with a relatively good looking model, but not as good as this one.
The watch houses a bullet proof ETA based DOXA by Synchron caliber, it is running well and keeping good time with functional date including quick set by crown middle position. The movement sits in a heavy stainless steel compartment still retaining the original finish with very little signs considering the utility of this watch. It has an original signed non-screw down crown and a thick original mineral crystal with a single scratch near the 6. The bezel is in exceptional lightly used condition, still with original finish and is unilateral counterclockwise. (Please note that this watch was not tested to be waterproof although it most likely still is).
The dial of this watch is an original factory made dark silver sunburst dial in near mint condition, exceptional in every standard with an original set of hands.
This unique DOXA watch is impressive in any possible way and will surely be an amazing addition to any collection, it measures 41,5 mm round excluding the crown and 44mm top to bottom.
Attached to this watch is a brand new old stock classic rubber diver band in matte dark black tone, 20mm wide, with a generic stainless steel buckle.
