empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant and all original Swiss made HAMILTON watch for men from the mid 70s with a hybrid electronic movement known as the 'Everest' from 1976, with day/date and hack.
The watch houses an hybrid Hamilton 702 semi-mechanical watch, running with a balance wheel but driven by a battery instead of a mainspring. This is a pioneer pre-Quartz era experiment developed by ESA and retailed by Hamilton, among others. It is running well and keeping good time on high beat rate with date function. The date is non quickset. The movement is cased in a large and robust stainless steel case in excellent shape with the original crystal and signed crown.
The dial is factory original and in mint condition - sunburst finish with applied baton markers and an original set of hands.
This Hamilton watch measures 38mm side to side (excluding crown) and 42mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a brand new genuine leather band in padded 'sport' black, 20mm wide with a generic stainless steel anti-allergic buckle.
