empressissi™ is pleased to offer this elegant and all original Swiss made HAMILTON watch for men from the mid 70s with a hybrid electronic movement known as the 'Polaris' from 1976, with day, date, quickset and hack.

The watch houses an hybrid Hamilton 702 semi-mechanical watch, running with a balance wheel but driven with a battery instead of a mainspring. This is a pioneer pre-Quartz era experiment developed by ESA and retailed by Hamilton, among others, running well and keeping good time on 13 jewels in 28,800 beats per hour rate with day and date function, both are quickset by crown position. The movement is cased in a large and robust stainless steel case in excellent shape with the original crystal and signed crown.

The dial is factory original and in mint condition - silver sunburst with an original set of hands.

This Hamilton watch measures 37mm side to side (excluding crown) and 42,5mm from top lug to bottom lug.

Attached to this watch is its original stainless steel bracelet in excellent condition with adjustable clasp (clasp may be generic, it is not signed). Will fit a wrist of up to 195mm comfortably.
