Gruen

Regular price $499.00

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this early and sought after Art Deco GRUEN wrist watch for men - a unique model from the late 20s in white gold filled case with a classic Art Deco cushion design and enamel trims.

The watch houses an early large Guild 707 caliber, running well on 15 jewels with sub seconds. It is cased in an elegant relatively large cushion shaped 14K white gold filled case with decorations in Art Deco motif on the sides and enamel filling on the foliage. The watch has a mint correct mineral crystal and original crown. This case model ref is 707-1..

The dial is a
100% factory original hard enamel off-white dial with distinctive Art Deco figures and original set of hands. The luminous material on this dial has been restored with non-toxic Super-Luminova instead of the original hazardous Radium.

This rare Gruen watch measures 31mm side to side (excluding crown) and 39mm from top lug to bottom lug.

Attached to this watch is a brand new quality TIMEPIECE padded genuine leather band in black, 16mm wide with an anti-allergic white tone buckle.
