empressissi™ is unpleased to offer this uncommon military watch from the late 30s retailed by Lunser of Berlin which was a dominant Jeweler in the city and also a supplier of the Wehrmacht for various horological instruments before and during WW2. As opposed to our evident Kriegsmarine Minerva chronograph also on sale, this one is not decorated with any Nazi symbols however it has a very unique case design as it looks like an early attempt of waterproofing the case with a rubber seal.

The watch houses an early hi grade military shockproof BUREN 18" caliber - crown set and crown wind with sub seconds in excellent condition keeping accurate time. The movement is set in a nickel case with screw front and back with unique rubber seal on the back, probably to prevent water damage. It has a near mint glass crystal, free bow and original crown.

The dial is a factory original in white gilt technique over black metal dial and it appears like it lost its numerals and hands luminous material which I obviously did not restore and is all original with the original set of hands.

This unique pocket watch was most likely designed for field action, it is a large pocket watch measuring 52mm side to side (excluding crown).
