empressissi™ is pleased to offer this extremely rare and super unique, all original and well preserved Tissot folding purse watch in Art Deco design. The item is made of silver covered with black enamel and features a 'popping' watch once the handles are pressed out. It is working flawlessly and keeping good time.
The watch houses an early, hi grade manual wind ebauche, running on 15 jewels and keeping very good time. It is cased in a Sterling silver two parts case covered with black enamel with no damage uniquely shaped like a flower stem. Once the two sides are depressed from the bottom, the watch will pop up with a spring mechanism. Everything looks and operates flawlessly.
The dial is hard enamel over silver and is in pristine all original condition featuring blue elegant Art Deco numerals with original set of hands.
This one of a kind purse watch measures overall 41x52mm.
This watch comes with the super rare original box in great very lightly used condition with minor gluing to the rear only but otherwise very presentable.
