40s GIRARD-PERREGAUX 'Sea-Hawk' Gents Military Style Watch
empressissi™ is pleased to offer this rare and sought after WW2 period and style slim watch for men from the mid 40s in stainless steel case with Swiss manual wind movement.
The watch houses an early GP 06 / Peseux-180 caliber running on 15 jewels. It is cased in a stainless steel slim case made of two pieces - a bottom capsule for the movement with a frame including the lugs set with pressure over the crystal. It comes with mint acrylic crystal and a good crown.
The dial appears to have been professionally restored in the past and exhibits the correct print with Super-Luminova luminous material filled in the numerals and original set of hands.
This midsize Girard-Perregaux watch measures 31mm side to side (excluding crown) and 37mm from top lug to bottom lug and is modest in size even for a vintage watch.
Attached to this watch is its original and sought after KREMENTZ stainless steel bracelet in dual tone finish and excellent condition, with adjustable buckle to fit most wrist sizes.
