empressissi™ is pleased to offer this rare and sought after post World War II era military style watch for men from the early 50s, made for the German market with a manual wind AS1130 movement also known among collectors as the "Wehrmachtswerk" (Army's movement).
The watch houses a rare and sought after AS 1130 manual wind caliber running on 17 jewels with sub seconds complication. It is cased in a classic and relatively large for its era chrome plated case with fixed lugs. It has a mint crystal and good crown. The case exhibits some wear to the plating on the back side only.
The dial is rare factory original which is well preserved with gilt silver print and has an original set of hands.
This uncommon HELMA watch measures 35mm side to side (excluding crown) and 40mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new NATO Style 18mm wide, quality genuine leather band in tan brown tone.
