60s CERTINA Automatic Date 'Town&Country' Gents Vintage Watch
empressissi™ is pleased to offer this uncommon and fine Swiss watch from the late 60s by CERTINA. In our opinion Certina is far underestimated vs its quality but does not fall from makers such as Longines and Omega; these watches are fantastic mechanical creations, with complicated and well finished movements. They are very accurate and robust. This watch is an all original example in great all original condition, is ready to wear, gift or add to your collection.
The watch houses a strong hi beat 25-651 automatic caliber running on 28 jewels with a non-quickset date. It is cased in a sturdy stainless steel case with original signed crown and original crystal, all in great condition.
The dial of this watch is an original factory made sunburst dark metallic blue with applied baton markers and original set of hands.
This impressive CERTINA watch measures 37mm side to side (excluding crown) and 38mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is an aftermarket, gorgeous and in great shape stainless steel mesh bracelet.
