empressissi™ is pleased to offer this uncommon GIRARD-PERREGAUX relatively large dress watch for men from the early 60s with manual wind movement and is set with the crown on the other side, for people wearing the watch on the right hand.
The watch houses a 26.09 manual wind caliber running on 17 jewels which is basically the AS-1758 with better plates finish. It is cased in a relatively larger than usual stainless steel case and comes with mint acrylic crystal and good crown set on the left side.
The dial was professionally restored in the correct brushed silver tone here in our atelier and it has the correct single tone 'checkers' grid. It comes with the original set of silver tone index hands.
This rare Girard-Perregaux watch measures 29mm side to side (excluding crown) and 39mm from top lug to bottom lug.
Attached to this watch is a standard length brand new, 18mm wide, quality slim genuine leather band in black tone with unsigned anti-allergic buckle in white tone.
Vintage watches are often smaller than today's standards; To avoid the inconvenience of returns merely due to wrong size expectations, Please take a moment to study the measurements of this watch. Keep in mind that in most cases, vintage watches are smaller than today's standards and are unlikely to fit a large wrist.
