empressissi™ is pleased to offer this extremely rare and hardly used, phenomenal condition diver watch for the American market - The DivingStar 1500 (ft) from the mid 70s. These vintage Cyma Super Compressor watches were produced during the 1970’s by the Syncron group, who owned Cyma, Doxa and also released Diving star models. This particular black dial model is in near new old stock condition. These large watches have amazing wrist presence yet are near indestructible in terms of their build quality and durability.
Although numerous manufacturers made super compressor models the Cyma is far rarer than even the Zodiac Super Seaworld and is genuinely one of the rarest super compressor watches there is, without doubt an amazing investment opportunity at the same time as being a very wearable tool watch.
The watch houses a bullet proof ETA based CYMA caliber, it is running well and keeping good time with functional date. The movement sits in a heavy stainless steel compartment still retaining the original finish with very little signs considering the utility of this watch. It has an original signed screw down crown and a thick original mineral crystal. The bezel is covered by a gorgeous orange bi-lateral ring bezel in perfect shape. (Please note that this watch was not tested to be waterproof although it most likely still is).
The dial of this watch is an original factory made black dial in near mint condition, exceptional in every standard with an original set of hands.
This phenomenal CYMA watch is impressive in any possible way and will surely be an amazing addition to any collection, it measures 43 mm round excluding the crown and 50mm top to bottom.
Attached to this watch is a XL length brand new, 20mm wide, quality SAMCO silicone strap in navy blue tone with a generic stainless steel buckle.
