The watch houses a strong hi beat ETA 2789-1 automatic caliber running on 25 jewels. This movement features day and date, both quickset and is also dual-language English and Spanish (The photos show the Spanish day but it can be changed by a simple click to English). This movement is cased in a large and sturdy all stainless steel case in great condition, still retaining the original finish, with an original signed crown and mint crystal. The bezel rotates well with a strong click and is bi-lateral.
The dial of this watch is an original factory made black tone with two tone yellow indices in near mint condition and comes with the original set of hands.
This impressive FORTIS watch measures 43mm side to side (excluding crown) and 44mm from top lug to bottom lug and is relatively large in size for a vintage watch.
Attached to this watch is a quality standard length brand new, 20mm wide, genuine leather band in black tone and slim design, perfect match for this watch.
