70s LIP 42670 Thermometer (NOS) Vintage Diver Watch

empressissi™ is pleased to offer this extremely rare and most likely never used, LIP French Reference 42670 'Thermometer' wrist watch in new old stock (NOS) condition, hard to find in general and in particular in such a good condition, it is a fine opportunity for any vintage/diver watches collector. The watch houses an early LIP 557 (Durowe cal. 451) manual wind caliber, it is running well and keeping good time on 17 jewels. The movement is in a mint condition chrome plated case with an original crown and stainless back, still with the original protective sticker. The mint crystal has the iconic thermometer attached to the center which appears to be in working order but without further guarantee. (Please note that this watch was not tested to be waterproof either, although it most likely still is).
The dial of this watch is an original factory made black dial in mint condition, exceptional in every standard with an original set of hands.
This phenomenal LIP watch is impressive in any possible way and will surely be an amazing addition to any collection, it measures 35,5mm round excluding the crown and 42mm top to bottom.
Attached to this watch is its original new old stock rubber band in black tone.
