70s TISSOT Automatic 'Sideral' Date Fiberglass Gents Watch
empressissi™ is pleased to offer this early TISSOT Swiss gents watch in automatic wind with monoblock case made of fiberglass. This is a take off on the famous design of the Omega Dynamic models, with an integral band instead of lugs and a case using new materials for the era. These were considered revolutionary in terms of materials back in the 70s and are very collectible today.
This watch houses a quality 784-2 automatic wind movement, running on 17 jewels with sweep seconds and date working properly. This watch has no quickset. The movement is cased in monoblock unique black fiberglass case with a sunburst brushed stainless steel ring, overall in great condition with original crystal and signed crown.
The dial of this watch is all original and in beautiful condition, deep sunburst blue with raised markers and an original set of hands.
This fantastic Tissot watch measures 33mm round and despite being designed for gents, it is relatively small even for a vintage watch.
Attached to this watch is a matching brand new genuine leather band in deep blue tone with anti-allergic buckle in white tone.
