empressissi™ is pleased to offer this quality, original WITTNAUER gents wrist watch from the 70s known as the WITTNAUER 2000. WITTNAUER, an American watch company with Swiss origin who represented Longines in the US and Canada, officially contracted ORIENT (Japan) to manufacture the model 2000. Push button sets date, middle crown sets time & day number/day, bottom crown sets perpetual calendar

This watch houses a quality ORIENT W102 series caliber, running on 17 jewels with sweep seconds. It is cased in a very large all stainless steel case in excellent condition, still retaining its original finish. The crowns and pinset are original and functional and the watch has a mint crystal.

The dial of this watch is all original and in excellent condition. Deep blue with rotating year/day disc below in silver tone and an original set of hands. The luminous material in the hands appears to have been redone in the past.

This interesting time machine measures 42mm side to side (excluding crown) and 45mm from top lug to bottom lug.

Attached to this watch is a brand new, genuine leather band in padded, sportive navy blue, 20mm wide, with a matching unsigned anti-allergic stainless steel buckle.
