empressissi™ is pleased to offer this antique, all original and in excellent condition slim pocket watch from the mid 19th century.
This is a Lepine pocket watch style cylinder movement KWKS (key wind/key set) gilt caliber in overall excellent condition and running with 8 jewels which is an above average standard for a cylinder movement. The movement is cased in a gold filled slim and elegant case, relatively large and with amazing hand engraved decorations all around, depicting an urban scene on the back of the case, as well as elegant engravings over the dust cover, suggesting this was made for a Spanish speaking destination. It has a nice bow and near mint mineral crystal.
The dial is a factory original enamel white in fantastic condition, featuring Roman numerals and original set of classic Breguet hands.
This one of a kind pocket watch measures 44mm side to side (excluding crown).
