Cylinder Pocket Watches

Empressissi™ specializes in first half of the 20th century Swiss and American, mechanical only pocket watches. In addition, we have a separate collection of cylinder pocket watches; these pocket watches are mostly earlier examples of timepieces, from the mid 19th century and most of them are silver pocket watches.

The cylinder technology is earlier - and inferior to mass production lever escapement pocket watches - both in production skills and in timekeeping standards. Therefore, thus all the items in this collection are mechanically complete and running, with the majority of them being relatively accurate, this is the only collection we are offering as historic horological artifacts, with no guarantee whatsoever regarding their timekeeping standards and/or duration of functionality.
