empressissi™ is pleased to offer this antique, all original and in excellent condition Savonette pocket watch from the late 19th century.
This is a rather unusual three-quarters plate style cylinder movement KWKS (key wind/key set) gilt caliber which normally suggests it was made for the British market to compete with common design. It is in overall excellent condition and running properly. The movement is cased in an unmarked silver case, hand etched in floral motif to the finest standards with an open cartouche on the front with good hinges overall - front and back case, dust curvette and even a hinge for the dial part covered by a mineral crystal. It has an original bow in great condition and the top button to open the front lid functions properly.
The dial is a factory original enamel white in fantastic condition, featuring Roman numerals and original set of classic slim Breguet hands.
This one of a kind pocket watch measures 41mm side to side (excluding crown).
Please remember that thus all items listed in the 'Cylinder Pocket Watches' collection are mechanically complete and running, with the majority of them being relatively accurate, this is the only collection we are offering as historic horological artifacts, with no guarantee whatsoever regarding their timekeeping standards and/or duration of functionality.
