empressissi™ is pleased to offer this antique, all original and in excellent condition pocket watch from the late 19th century in a design normally associated with Black Forest region.
This is a Lepine pocket watch style cylinder movement KWKS (key wind/key set) gilt caliber in overall excellent condition and running with 8 jewels which is an above average standard for a cylinder movement. The movement is cased in a signed 0.800 Swiss hallmarked continental silver case with elegant hand engraved decorations all around. It has an original decorated bow and mint mineral crystal.
The dial is a factory original dual tone enamel white/Celeste in fantastic condition, featuring Roman numerals and gorgeous "Schwarzwald" floral design in the middle and original set of classic hands.
This beautiful cylinder pocket watch measures 37mm side to side (excluding crown).
